God. It's happened again. I really /hate/ California. Not only because it's full of idiots but because of the wildfires.
Three years ago there was a huge fire, errr three huge fires /very/ close to my house. It was called Firestorm 2003. It destroyed a /lot/ of land and killed a lot of people for a wildfire. A lot of my peers lost their homes in that fire. And now there's another one.
True, it's 100 miles away. But with the hot, dry, poweful wind, it'll come closer with ease. 'Specially since it's already heading this way.
I know, I'm probably overreacting, but I've had bad experiances with fires, and they scare me like nothing else. I'm dead serious. Nothing else scares me more then a wildfire except for volcanoes and tornadoes. And since Hurrican Katrina, hurricanes have been added to that list. But I've lived througha burricane, they usually aren't that bad.
The firestorm lasted over a month and burned right trhough my birthday. I'm scared this one will do the same. What makes me even madder is that the idiot who started the Cedar fire, the biggest fire in Firestorm, gets off without any prison time. Instead the taxpayers have to pay for /his/ therapy. Where's the justice?
God I hate fires.
